Get Set to Soar!
Over the past 15 years of teaching knitting, I don’t know how many times, while fixing something for a student or customer, I’ve heard them say, “I just wish I knew how to fix this myself. You make it look so easy.”
They look at me like I have super powers, like it’s a skill they long to have but don’t know how they could ever attain it.
And you know what… I was once that person, too…watching my knitting mentor fix my mistakes with ease. I marveled at her ability to look at a thing and instantly fix it. I didn’t know how I’d ever be that good. And here I am now, the person people marvel at as I fix their mistakes.
I’ll let you in on a little secret…those “magical super powers”… it all comes down to practice. Making that same mistake again and again and fixing it over and over until the fear is gone and all that remains is confidence.
Being able to fix your own mistakes isn’t just about no longer being dependent on someone else, it also gives you the confidence and freedom to attempt new skills and start new projects.
If you’re someone who doesn’t feel confident fixing mistakes, or maybe you know a little bit but are ready for more, then this class is for you. You can finally become your own knitting superhero(ine).
