Take a moment to think about your current relationship with your knitting … are you feeling stagnant? Do you want to learn something new? Are you itching to enhance your skills? Are you ready to transform from a capable knitter to a confident and courageous knitter? Are you ready to invest in yourself so you can take your knitting to the next level?
Whether you’ve been knitting for a few months or a few decades, there is always something new to learn. This course will guide you step by step as you unlock your knitting potential!
With high-quality video tutorials for each skill, you will feel supported and confident as you conquer these new skills. You’ll also receive email access to me, your intrepid instructor, to answer any questions you may have. And, because you might be taking this class without access to a LYS to help fix mistakes, I have armed you with videos on how to take out each of the skills you learn.
In each lesson you will be knitting a square that gives you a big ol’ dose of that featured skill so that by the time you bind off you feel like a master. Not only will you learn the featured skill but you will also learn several other tips, tricks and techniques in each lesson.
I originally designed these squares using a cotton but they would equally lovely in a wool! (Hint hint...if you DO knit them out of cotton, you will end up with 6 of the loveliest washclothes you’ve ever made...perfect gifts for those you love!) I recommend Berroco Pima 100 or Malabrigo Verano, both lovely cotons. e sure to choose solid colors, as well as two colors that will show enough contrast in your mosaic square.

Hi, I’m Meredith!
I'm so glad you're here!
17 years ago I picked up some cheap Lion Brand yarn and a pair of giant needles and taught myself how to knit. While it took me a year to figure out how to purl (life before YouTube!), I knew that I'd found a hobby that would be with me for the rest of my life. I've made it my life's work to bring the beauty and joy of knitting and crochet to people for the last 14 years.
I pride myself on being a teacher who helps you feel supported and capable. It's my goal to empower you with all the tools you need to have the confidence to attempt your knitting heart desires! I truly believe this class will do just that.
